What is RMS School​

Sindhu Sainik, Military, & RIMC Coaching School has contributed equally in preparing the aspiring students who seek to be an aspect of the Rashtriya Military Schools. Like the RIMC, even the Rashtriya Military Schools (RMS) fall under classification 'A' foundation of the Army and are administered by the Directorate General of Military Training at IHQ of MOD(Army). These schools were initially set up as King George's Royal Indian Military schools and admissions were available to the sons of Defence Service Officers and civilians. The Central Governing Council (CGC), headed by the Defence Secretary, Ministry of Defence is the apex body for these schools.

RMS Syllabus ​

As we know the Rashtriya Military School Common Entrance Test (RMS CET) is conducted every year for the aspiring students (boys) who wish to be a part of the Rashtriya Military Schools. The syllabuses differ for both class sixth and class ninth entrance tests. The subjects included for the Class 6 entrance exam are Intelligence, English, Mathematics, GK. and current affairs. And for the Class 9 entrance exam, the subjects are Mathematics, Science, English, Hindi, and Social Science. Following the written exams, the students must also appear for the interview process which has a weightage of fifty marks.

Admission Process

The RMS School Admission will be based on the eligibility, performance in the Admission Test, and the final Interview Process. The eligibility criteria for class 6 admissions - Boys who are only between the age of 10 to 11 years as on July 01 of the year of admission are allowed. The eligibility criteria for class 9 admissions - Boys who are only between the age of 13 to 14 years as on July 01 of the year of admission are allowed. The admission process for the students of class 11 will solely be based on the class 10 board exam results, and the boys who are only between the age of 15 to 16 years as on July 01 of the year of admission are allowed.
